The summer of 2016 found Liz and myself on board the P&O liner Azura, on a fascinating cruise up to Iceland and back.
Of course, we visited the capital city, Reykjavik, on our travels and had a great time exploring this unique city.
The weather was typical north Atlantic, with heavy clouds blowing by overhead almost constantly, shrouding the coastline in a mantle of moving grey.
With an hour or two to spare I decided to capture a time lapse of the dramatic weather from on board ship (with hot coffee nearby at all times!).
This video shows the scene from almost the highest deck on the ship, which gave a great view out over the small island of Videy to the mountainous, cloud cloaked coast beyond.
