A lovely evening in last August found my wife Liz and I strolling along the promenade at Rhyl on the north Wales coast.
Overlooking the acres of pristine beach at low tide, out northwest towards the horizon on the Irish Sea as the sun plyed hide and seek behind the broken clouds hovering overhead.
So, of course, it was out with the cameras after we'fd finished our gentle walk to record that beautiful show of light and colour as the sun sank slowly downwards.
These days, I've taken to using two cameras to record sunset timelapse videos, one to film the wide view over the foreground and sky, and the other camera set up to catch the sun at a higher magnification during the few minutes before and during the actual sunset.
And on this particular evening the technique worked very well, with lovely detail in both the zoomed in and wide angle views.
