The west coast of Mallorca, by the Mediterranean sea, is a visual treat.
The impressive Sierra de Tramuntana mountain sweep down to the sea along most of this coast, and you can view the whole thing by driving along one of the most amazing roads in this part of the world - the MA10.
On the stretch of the MA-10 near Estellencs lies the Mirador (viewpoint) de Ricardo Roca, usually crammed with coach tours due to the spectacular sea cliff views and welcome restaurant Es Grau (with toilets).
However, when Liz and I called there during our trip to Mallorca in May the restaurant was closed and the viewpoint very quiet.
So I was able to set up my camera and tripod without causing offence and record half an hour or so of time lapse showing cumulus clouds forming on the slopes of the Tramuntana mountains while Liz and I enjoyed a picnic.
