August 11th 2015 - The peak of the Perseid meteor shower and I'm nicely in position for the show, braced up against a rock on Llandwyn Island on the southwestern edge of Anglesey, just off the North Wales coast.
My plan for the night involved two cameras, one facing north (this one) towards the area of sky from which the meteors should originate, and one facing south to catch the movement of the milky way across the sky.
Setting off both cameras to shoot continuously on 15 second exposures I was hopeful of catching some meteors, and to make some nice time lapse videos of the stars moving across the heavens.
In the end I shot around 2,900 RAW images between the two cameras, and only one had a visible comet on it.
Never mind though, as I got two very nice time lapse sequences out of my night's work, including this one.
