Sunset Time Lapse #25

The story behind this video

You'd think by now that I would have had enough of photographing time lapse videos of sunsets from the West Shore at Llandudno, as a trawl through the video gallery here at goHOWiE.com may suggest.

And I must confess I was in two minds as to whether I should go to the effort of shooting yet another hour's worth of stills on this occasion, as Liz and I were parked up watching the show unfold out over the Irish Sea late one spring evening.

But of course I did!

How on earth could I not film those beautiful crepusular rays slicing across the heavens as the sun found holes in the rapidly moving cloud base to shine through, followed by the golden orb breaking out underneath the wrack before finally completing its daily journey below the horizon.

I know sunset time lapses are ten a penny nowadays, but I still love shooting and producing them, especially when such dramatic beauty is on display.
