A lovely few days' weather towards midsummer 2017 found my wife Liz and I out late every evening catching the sunset at various beautiful locations on the North Wales coast.
This particular evening we were parked up opposite Rhos-on-Sea golf club, overlooking Colwyn Bay and the Little Orme headland to the north west, enjoying the show as the sun slowly sank towards the far horizon.
A bit of careful positioning on my part had the sun sliding nicely down the side of the Little Orme for this time lapse sequence, while the few low level clouds picked up the orange and gold light, an effect which carried on a while after the sun disappeared into the sea.
A lovely end to a lovely day on the North Wales coast.
