A beautiful late afternoon on the North Wales coast found my wife Liz and I high above Conwy Morfa on the Sychnant Pass, watching entranced at the play of sunlight and shadow on the mountains before us and over the Great Orme over on the far side of the mouth of the river Conwy estuary.
Above us, anticipating an approaching weather front, different layers and types of cloud danced across the sky as they caught the light from the low angled sun, heading rapidly dowm to the western horizon.
A half hour's picnic break gave me the chance to film this time lapse video sequence, capturing some of the loveliness of an afternoon spent in what must be one of the most beautiful places on earth.
