The lake of Tarn Hows and the surrounding countryside really are one of the jewels in the crown of England's Lake District.
Run by the National Trust, this lake is partly man-made, having been two seperate smaller lakes in times past.
My wife Liz and I made a special effort to visit Tarn Hows during our long weekend break in the Lake District during the summer of 2020, and having been here previously on a very damp autumn day is was great to be able to walk around in actual sunshine for once.
The walk around took us most of the afternoon, with multiple stops for photography and snacks, including three opportunities for shooting hundreds of still images to create three time lapse videos, of which this is the second, featuring a secluded bay on the far side of the lake.
