Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital city of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, boasts this amazing waterfront auditorium.
Designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, the auditorium is the premiere iconic building in the Canary Islands and, as such, well deserved a visit from my wife Liz and I during our week long winter break on Tenerife.
As well as taking dozens of still images featuring the eye catching interaction of lines and curves displayed in the architecture, I also shot the hundreds of frames needed to create this time lapse video showing the transition from day to night over the striking building.
Needless to say that Liz took advantage of the well appointed bar in the auditorium while I was out filming, enjoying a cup of earl grey while watching the sunset.
Not a bad way to spend an hour or so!
