A high pressure system over North Wales in late September 2021 gave rise to clear skies and the opportunity for me to get out early in the morning and shoot the the 2,500+ frames needed to create this time lapse video of the full harvest moon setting over the Vale of Clwyd.
Moonset was scheduled for an hour before sunrise, so the sky to the west stayed dark for the 15 minute duration of the shoot.
As the moon approached the far horizon over Snowdonia I noticed that the direction of moonset was right over the top of a few of the wind turbines of the Brenig wind farm, which was an unexpected bonus, as I couldn't see the turbines in the dark.
