A calm, clear night in early september 2021 found me hunkered down over my camera on the slopes of Moel Famau, the highest peak in the Clwydian Range Arwa of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in North Wales.
The view to the west, overlooking the the market town of Ruthin in the Vale of Clwyd, was just stunning in the dark of a moonless night, with the milky way suspended in space over the glowing streetlights far below.
So I spent a happy three hours, on into the early hours of the morning, capturing the hundreds of still images needed to create this stunning time lapse video while watching the stars, planets and satelites wheel by overhead as the milky way tracked slowly across my camera's viewfinder.
What a way to spend a few hours, marvelling at God's creative wisdom and love laid out in the heavens above for me to enjoy.
