The rolling countryside of the Vale of Clwyd in north Wales lies between the Clwydian hills to the east, and the mountains of Snowdonia to the west, and is a beautiful part of the world.
Driving down into the Vale, from above the market town of Ruthin, there's a layby on the side of the road that gives a lovely view towards the west, which is a great spot just to stop and watch the sun setting.
This being north Wales, the weather can be quite lively, and no two evenings are the same, so the same view can be enjoyed over and over again without ever getting boring.
Which is just as well for me, as not only do I enjoy watching the sunset, but I take great pleasure in creating these time lapse videos of what I'm priviledged to witness.
And this sunset didn't disappoint, as a vivid display of colourful clouds played across the sky before the sun finally disappeared behind the gently sloping hills.
What a treat to be able to watch and film such beauty.
