A mad dash after tea up onto the slopes of my local hill, Moel Famau in Northeast Wales saw me arrive just in time to capture this lovely sunset time lapse over the Vale of Clwyd.
But the pleasure didn't end with the disappearance of the sun, as the high altitude cirrus clouds overhead continued to catch the sunlight for a few minutes as they swirled around, eventually disappearing as the last of the light fled the scene.
