For a couple of weeks every spring, our local parish church of St Mary's in Mold, North Wales, transforms into a floral wonderland as the numerous flowering cherry trres within its grounds burst into blossom.
The event is quite short lived, as the usual North Wales weather can turn rapidly from calm to storm, stripping the blooms off the branches.
So I made the most of this opportunity of a lovely sunny, calm day to capture the fleeting beauty of the blossom surrounding the church in a series of photographs before it was gone for another year.
