Hiking through the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) near Cilcain in North Wales in autumn is a sensory delight, especially when the sun is shining.
With the sights, smells and sounds of the countryside all around as the trees and bracken slowly turn from green to gold, there are few places on earth to rival this area for beauty and peace.
So as my wife Liz ans I slowly climbed the path towards the saddle between Moel Famau and Moel Arthur I stopped every so often to photograph the scenery, concentrating my efforts on the beautiful trees along the path.
After all, you don't want to hurry through such loveliness.
