During our week long stay on the southwest coast of Ireland my wife Liz and I spent a lot of time exploring the harbour towns that line this stretch of the Atlantic ocean.
One such place that we visited was Dungarvan, in County Waterford, with lovely old harbour walls surrounding a tidal lagoon in which moored boats rose and fell on the tide.
We visited Dungarvan twice, once during the day when I took this still image under gorgeous mixed lighting with sunlight playing over yachts moored in the harbour while ominous heavy clouds rolled by overhead, and once in the evening, when I recorded the stills for my time lapse video of dusk falling over Dungarvan harbour and town.
Just a lovely place to walk around and soak in the peace and quiet while taking the odd photo or two!
