Surely one of the loveliest views in Wales (and that's saying something!).
This is the scene looking up the Mawddach Estuary towards the mountains of southern Snowdonia, from the iconic railway bridge crossing the mouth of the estuary at Barmouth on the welsh coast.
Crossing the railway bridge on foot was something I'd always wanted to do, and an useasonably warm and sunny Saturday in late September 2020 had my wife Liz and I heading down from our home in North Wales to achieve that life goal.
As you can see, the views from the bridge are stunning, and it took us quite a while to get across and back, with me stopping every few metres to take yet more photos and videos.
Such as this panoramic collage, taken halfway through our crossing and featuring the remaining stretch of bridge leading to the far side of the estuary.
