An early October morning, with clear skies promised on the weather forecast, found me on the slopes of the local hill, Moel Famau, part of the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in North Wales.
Over the slopes of the opposite peak, Feol Fenlli, the constellation of Orion the Hunter was slowly sinking towards the west as I set my camera off to record the hundreds of still frames needed to create my Orion Timelapse #3 video.
This image is one of the early frames, captured before a veil of thin cloud moved across the heavens fronm the west, effectively ending the show for another night.
