The end of a beautiful spring day on the North Wales coast and where else would you want to be but on the beach at Talacre, watching and photographing as the sun slowly sinks towards the western horizon.
Of course, it helps with your photograph's interest if the ebbing tide has left a large pool of calm, reflective water for you to fill your viewfinder with, glowing in the warm colours of sunset.
A couple of minutes later and the sun disappeared for another day, leaving a fading twilight glow in the sky that slowly turned to grey, signalling that it was time to head home for a hot drink and something to eat.
Not a bad way to end the day!
