The end of a beautiful spring day on the North Wales coast and where else would you want to be but on the beach at Talacre, watching and photographing as the sun slowly sinks towards the western horizon.
Of course, it helps with your photograph's interest if you have the disused Point of Ayr lighthouse sticking up out of the sand in front of you, and I made full use of this local icon to compose this image.
A couple of minutes later and the sun disappeared for another day, leaving just a twilight glow in the sky that slowly faded to grey, signalling that it was time to head home for a hot drink and something to eat.
Not a bad way to end the day!
