Towards the end of the week long winter sun break my wife Liz and I enjoyed on Tenerife in the Canary Islands we took a drive to the capital city, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, to have a look at the visually stunning seafront auditorium, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava.
When we arrived there we were amazed and pleased to find lots of free parking, a lovely water park (closed at that time in the evening) and really pleasant parks and walkways leading to the auditorium itself.
But looking the other way for a moment I was rather taken with this arrangement of high rise apartments, catching the light of the setting sun and fronted by the water park car park.
The scene lent itself to a panoramic composition, but instead of taking a wide angled shot and cropping the image I took a series of overlappping frames and stiched them together in Adobe Lightroom, giving me a much higher resolution final picture.
