The story behind this image

Spring 2020, and walking past our local playground was a slightly surreal experience for my wife liz and I, as normally the sight of children enjoying the rides and parent chatting in the background would greet us on our daily exercise stroll.

But not this spring, as the coronavirus lockdown had closed all the playgrounds, and we passed by in an eerie silence.

Filters - Polarising filter used to enhance colours.

Comments - Raised ISO used to allow handheld exposure with image stabilisation.
