New Year's Eve morning, the last day of the decade, and I'm seeing the year 2019 out in style with an early morning vigil at one of my favourite places in the world, Penmon Point on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.
Wrapped up in multiple layers against the biting winter wind, I perched myself and my camera on a seaweed covered rock overlooking the iconic lighthouse and Puffin Island, in order to capture the hundreds of still frames needed to create my Penmon Dawn Timelapse #2 video.
Then once the sun had risen I repositioned myself on the next rock along to capture the several hundred more frames I needed to create this second time lapse video of the morning, showing the tide coming in around the base of the lighthouse and foreshore, only finishing the shoot when waves started washing over the legs of my tripod!
What a great way to see out 2019!
