5am on a freezing cold morning in early spring and I'm up and about, enjoying the crisp, clean air on the summit of Moel Famau, the highest peak in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
With the sky to the east lightening rapidly as sunrise approached I set my camera up on the ruined stump of the Jubilee Tower to capture this image of the stone circle, seemingly floating above a sea of early morning mist over the low lying Cheshire plain far below.
What an amazing place to be at this, the best time of the day.
Sheer enjoyment!
